Probably the most unusual bike at the event was this prototype built by one of our overseas members. It folds about the rear pivot. The main frame shape allows the wheel to fit in under it.
The strange rear wheel mounting allows the wheel to be moved forward when folded.
Front suspension is definitely not by the normal Moulton methods.
Two other overseas visitors relax in the sun with their ‘conventional’ outside St Margarets Hall on Saturday morning.
Mark West had his now usual stand producing and selling Club T shirts, caps etc.
Michael Woolf only put in a fleeting visit this year, and some members may have thought he was not there at all. Our photograph proves he did get to the event.
Dan Farrell rides the fx4 with the automatic Shimano hub, while Melvyn Cresswell (also of Pashley) commentates from the right of the picture. It was good to see ray Racy (left) at the event, even though he did not manage to go on the ride on Sunday.
As usual, many members chose to camp on the Saturday night.
Riders, led by Dr Moulton, departing from The Hall on Sunday morning.
During the Sunday morning ride the Moultoneers took over the lanes around Bradford on Avon.
Relaxing in the sun during the Sunday lunch stop. Foreground: Sandra Evans, who is organising the Severn Valley Ride from Kidderminster on 2 October (see the events page for more information).
Dr Moulton issues instructions for the return ride to The Hall after the Sunday lunch stop.
